Front of mock-upThe winner of the sponsored corset has received the mock-up from the corsetmaker. After trying the mock-up while wearing her clothes, she has a few alterations for the final corset. She also has to choose among the fabric swatches, she received from the corsetmaker.

Ethel Granger
Ethel Granger with a belt over her dress Ethel Granger (1905 - 1982) had the world's smallest waist. She achieved a waist size of 13 inches, with assistance from her husband William Granger. Excepts of the biography with Black & white pictures, is available from Insight Books for US$16, and the original 227 pages manuscript is available for free at the Ethel Granger biography website.
