Adjustable heels
Adjustable shoes by Wei-Chieh Tu Corsets are adjusted by tightening and loosing the laces. Heels are usually fixed at a certain height, but some people have thought on how to change heel heights. The designer Wei-Chieh (William) Tu, has a design idea for Adjustable High Heel Shoes, that can be adjusted from 0° to 38° angle. He says: "By pushing the release button, users can adjust to high heels, mid heels or flats, anytime and anywhere they need" and "Raise it up to the totally high and have fun!". British designer Rosemary Wallin has created the KitShoe. She explains: "At the office, they may wish to wear a higher heel, perhaps to project a more sophisticated, business-like image in meetings, or even simply to enhance their height". The Convertibles (Adjustable High Heels) are made by North Sydney UTS student Sophie Cox. They are made so it is very easy to change from a 3 cm heel to a 7 cm and back; "The CONVERTIBLES offers a solution that caters for executive women in the workforce who long for a single pair of closed toed shoes, that can act as a high heeled shoe or a low heeled version".
