Victoria's Secret has patented
pantyhose that slim the legs. When worn tightly against the skin, the skin pH,
skin moisture and skin heat generated by body heat and friction, will release
molecules from the garment so fat is removed from the body. According to test,
the thigh circumference is reduced by 1" when worn eight hours for three
days. This patent is relevant for corset wearers. IBM
Intellectual Property Network also have other patents related to corsets.
