Effective immediately, pre-registration to the corset sponsorship 2005 has
been closed. The requirements and control will increase significant. I'm very interested in Victorian fashion and would like at some point to be
in a financial position to make reproductions. I sew a little, and with
practice, feel that I could make some really nice things. I am interested
in a Japanese fashion style called Elegant Gothic Lolita. It's Victorian
with a modern Gothic flair. I want to eventually wear custom clothing over
my corset everywhere I go. I'm into video games somewhat, but haven't
played a whole lot of the newer ones since I just bought my PS2 recently.
I like role playing games as well. I like Anime (Japanese animation) and
love to cosplay (dressing up as different characters from anime, sci-fi and
roleplaying games. I love to listen to music of all kinds and I feel lucky
to live in New Orleans where it's everywhere! I'm currently considering
joining a theatrical group that's going to be starting here as well as becoming
a go-go dancer for the local band, The Sophisticats. Of course these
things really depend upon how tight my schedule becomes with my waitressing job.
I also sell weight loss patches and use them myself. I've lost 25 lb and
51" of body fat and can't wait to get my waist down to 19-20" through

About
Interests
I first became interested in corsetting by watching old movies with
my mother when I was a child. When I mentioned how tiny the women's waists
were, she explained the garment to me. I was enthralled by this idea and
wanted one for myself, but it was quickly forbidden. As soon as I was old
enough, I bought an off the rack corset from a local boutique (I
lived in Chicago at the time) I loved the way it looked, but the fit
wasn't very good as I'm very small in the ribs and larger in the hip area.
I'd get a lot of numbness, bruising and hotspots with any extended wear.
Later in life, I came across a tightlacing website and was immediately hooked on
the idea of this semi-permanent body modification. I couldn't wait to save
up the money and get a custom corset. Unfortunately, unforseen occurances
prevented this from happening. Now, thanks to Peter, I can finally begin
sculpting that tiny waist that I so loved as a child. I'm currently
wearing the corset up to 8 hours on my days off during the day. On working
days I wear it when I sleep. I'm amazed at how much more comfortable the
custom is than the off the rack versions of the same garment. Sometimes I
even forget I have it on. Well, until I try to slouch anyway.
*laughs* I'm slowly working myself up to a goal of 23 hours a day wear.
Wear and goal
I hope to eventually wear my corset 23 hours per day and achieve
a waist of 19". I don't know if I'll try the pipe-stem corset since
it's not accurate to the period fashion that I enjoy, but it is a look I
like. For me, corsetting is a form of control over how my body looks
without trying anything extreme like liposuction or other potentially dangerous
practices. It's also a bit erotic for me as I know that whenever I wear
it, I'm drawing lustful gazes. I believe there is nothing sexier than a
tightly restricted waist coupled with full hips! It's a true
"hourglass" that just can't be created any other way.
